About Jessie Roy

Hi! I'm Jessie Roy, and I write fantasy and science fiction. I published my first short story in 2007, then paused to chase a couple of degrees in chemistry and ecology. Now I'm back, a Viable Paradise 2024 graduate, and I'm revising my novel, faithfully except for the occasional short-story fling.

I'm half-Korean, Bay Area-based, and the proud parent of two kids and a bearded dragon. I squeeze the writing in around the edges. I built this website myself, though the gorgeous site logo is courtesy of the amazing Mina Roy. When I'm not writing, I'm probably at the archery range.
