About Jessie Roy

Jessie Roy writes fantasy and occasionally science fiction. Her work deals with moral ambiguity and the kind of love that matters even when it doesn't fix anything. She published her first short story in 2007, then paused to collect degrees in chemistry and ecology before fiction dragged her back in. She is a Viable Paradise 2024 graduate, and is currently revising her first novel.

Jessie is half-Korean and lives in the Bay Area. She built this website herself; the site logo was created by Mina Roy. When she isn't yelling at recalcitrant characters she can usually be found at the archery range.
